Before You Reach Out
Is working with me right for you?
You don't have to be sure. Most people aren't when they first reach out.
You might connect if...
- You are carrying trauma from past relationships, childhood, or experiences you haven't been able to fully process
- You are a first responder or have been exposed to traumatic events through your work
- Grief, loss, or addiction has left you feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself
- You want a bilingual therapist who understands the intersection of culture and mental health
How I work
- I follow your lead and adapt the pace to what feels right for you
- I draw from DBT, CPT, EFT, and ACT, choosing what fits your goals and history
- I balance emotional processing with practical tools you can use between sessions
- I bring cultural sensitivity into every conversation
What the first session looks like
- Mostly listening. I want to understand your story before anything else
- We talk about what brought you here and what you're hoping for
- I'll share how we might work together, and you decide if it feels right
- No pressure to share everything at once
